Almost everyone today knows about Nessie, or the monster from the Scottish Loch Ness. Let us try to systematize this knowledge and answer the question, whether the Loch Ness Monster really exists. How does the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie) look like?

The Loch Ness Monster (Nessie) resembles a plesiosaurus. It is huge, has a long neck and long tail, dark skin and a hump. Some say it resembles a large turtle. This is what the messages about this strange creature say. But does it really exist?

The first reports of the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie)

The monster was written about as early as in the 17th century and was made famous by the local newspaper Inverness Courier in the 1930s.

More reports of the Loch Ness Monster

Subsequent reports appeared in 1936, 1937, and later in the 40s and 50s. The legend was still alive, there were new witnesses to the existence of this animal or creature, it is difficult to determine exactly what the monster is.

The following decades were marked by tales of creation. This is amazing because usually there aren’t so many many reports. According to scientists, the monster is similar to a plesiosaurus, a long-necked sea reptile. The testimonies of witnesses show that it could be just such an animal. Others say it is a seal or sea elephant of supernatural size. Still, other hypotheses are dolphins or eels – such mammals and fish would fit the description as well, but this hypothesis seems very far-fetched. However, no dolphin has such a big tail.

A dinosaur may also be, but who sees dinosaurs today that are extinct in the distant past? Some people think that the gases accumulated in the lake create such an illusion. How many people, so many theories, but none of them have been confirmed so far.

Scientists are still wondering about this creature and trying to diagnose its existence. A group of scientists from New Zealand promised to solve the mystery of the monster by the end of 2018.

A 12-year-old girl recently took a picture of this monster. Although the picture was rather blurry, it was considered valuable proof of Nessie’s existence.

This legend intrigues researchers, filmmakers and book authors. Who (or what) the Loch Ness Monster is? Is it worth knowing its secret? There are many questions, but there is still no answer. It is worth leaning over the lake and examining it in depth. This is what researchers in New Zealand are to do.

The disappointment of the searchers was very great. However, hope should not be lost, the search is still ongoing, and the use of more and more modern technologies may dispel any doubts.

Marketing the Loch Ness Monster

Thanks to the monster, Loch Ness is the most famous lake in the world, so there was a real marketing miracle. Discovery of the monster for the inhabitants of the lake area would be a great way to promote (although the legend itself is) and encourage tourists to come to this place.

Such a discovery would therefore additionally affect people’s wages and raise their standard of living – another aspect of the existence of the Loch Ness monster that would not be overestimated. For now, they have to rehearse the topic from time to time, publish new reports and blurry photos, as in the case of UFOs … 🙂 As our political stars say – Nessie is a cutlet that is reheated from time to time 🙂
