  1. This is truly impressive! I was hoping for such database for a long time now. This is a dream that came true.

Could you please add a detailed description/ explanation of the terms under the ‘Status’ column to make it easier to understand the status of each species. What does ‘S >’, nomen dubium, nomen nudum, etc… exactly mean?

Another point, is this page be will be updated frequently?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Thank you for your kind words. We have added explanations of the terms under the main table. Yes, the database will be updated regularly – every month or quarterly, depending on the appearing descriptions of new species and genera of dinosaurs.

      1. Many thanks for your prompt reply and the added content.
Yesterday, Mansourasaurus shahinae, a new titanosaur sauropod from Egypt has been announced. It would be great if you could add it to the list of taxa.

        1. Of course we will add, but the update will be published on a monthly basis rather than every week:)

          1. Thanks. I will be waiting for it.
Is there is any mean to be notified once an update is available?

  2. Hello, i love this list!
Any chance of adding the dinosaurs classification for example:
Stegosaurus stenops Valid 7m (Weight) (Time) Stegosaurian

it’s just an idea to help people looking for certain dinosaur groups 🙂

(maybe also the country it was found as well?)

    1. We have these data collected, but to present them on the website, there is not enough space in the table. We’ll think about how to solve it in the future.
